Felgueiras is a Portuguese city located in the sub-region of Tâmega and Sousa, belonging to the North region and the district of Porto. It has an urban area of 17.44 km2, 17,695 inhabitants in 2021 and a population density of 1,015 inhabitants per km2.

It is the seat of the municipality of Felgueiras, with a total area of 115.74 km2, 55,855 inhabitants in 2021 and a population density of 483 inhabitants per km2, subdivided into 20 parishes:

The municipality is limited to the north by the municipality of Fafe, to the northeast by Celorico de Basto, to the southeast by Amarante, to the southwest by Lousada and to the northwest by Vizela and Guimarães.
There are two cities included in the municipality: Felgueiras and Lixa.
